RN Nursing Supervisor

7:00 - 3:00 Shift

Grandview Rehab is seeking an RN Supervisor who is responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. This role provides leadership for the nursing team and serves as a liaison between administration, nursing staff, residents, and families.

Qualifications

  • Current Connecticut RN License required.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of nursing regulations, resident care standards, and documentation requirements.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or on-call.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily nursing operations, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.

  • Ensure compliance with CMS, state regulations, and facility policies.

  • Monitor resident care plans and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.

  • Participate in staffing decisions, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff and mentor team members.

  • Respond to resident/family concerns and provide professional communication.

  • Assist in infection control, quality improvement, and safety initiatives.

  • Conduct staff meetings, in-services, and training as needed.

  • Support administration during surveys, audits, and inspections.
