Business Office Manager
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Office Manager (BOM) to oversee the financial and administrative operations of our nursing home. The BOM plays a critical role in ensuring accurate billing, resident trust management, payroll processing, and regulatory compliance, while also supporting staff and residents with professionalism and care.
Previous experience in healthcare billing, accounting, and office management (nursing home or long-term care experience preferred).
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic billing systems.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Manage all business office functions including billing, collections, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Oversee resident trust accounts and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Prepare financial reports, maintain budgets, and track census data.
Work closely with residents, families, and insurance providers to resolve billing inquiries.
Ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid, state, and federal guidelines.
Supervise office staff and support administrative functions of the facility.
