Payroll Coordinator
Grandview Rehab is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Payroll Coordinator to join the team for 24 hours per week. This position is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies. The ideal candidate is organized, confidential, and experienced with payroll systems and timekeeping software.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
1+ years of payroll experience preferred, especially in healthcare or a similar industry
Familiarity with payroll software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll for all employees, including hourly and salaried staff
Review timecards for accuracy and completeness
Ensure proper deductions for taxes, benefits, and other withholdings
Maintain and update employee payroll records in the system
Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies
Prepare payroll reports for management and auditing purposes
Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing
Stay up-to-date with state and federal payroll laws and regulations
Coordinate with HR the department to ensure accurate employee data
